Q&A- Question Numero Dos

December 2nd, ‘09

Benjamin Carroll asked- What/who are your top 5 favorite artists/bands of all time?

Hard question…. As I am a huge fan of good music in general. This question should be narrowed down into categories. Yet I think I will be able to narrow it down, but i’m going to roll this one with a top ten.
Here we go-

10-Will Hoge

9-The Killers

8-Tom Petty

7-Ryan Adams

6-Coldplay

5- Sigur Ros

4-Muse

3-Kings of Leon

2-Travis

1-Butch Walker

Now for all of you.. Shoot me your top 5(or 10) most influential bands (to you) of all time…

Q&A- Question Numero Uno

You give the Questions… We give the answers…..

Stephanie said-So, we all know you are a talented musician and vocalist….but you are a Mr Mom too? Can you cook?

Yes, I love to cook. I cook most of the time in the Canipe household. My wife does cook, but she does let me get in and do my thang. Sometimes I can go a little too heavy on the seasoning side of life, but through the process of elimination we have found some regular loves.

My favorite thing to cook is either Tilapia with rice, Homemade burritos or Fettucini Alfredo with shrimp and mushrooms.

As far as other “Household” duties, my wife is a pro at balancing her web design and kids and hanging my shirts to dry…

Thanksgiving

November 26th, ‘09

Thanksgiving…. Many things to be thankful for… A graceful God, beautiful wife and kids, great family, great friends plus so much more. My wife and kids and I live in Nashville and our families in the great states of GA, SC and NC. Which equals out to be one long drive. So last year we decided to do our own thing and see our families on Christmas. Last year we did the whole deal of Turkey and dressing, Ham and so on. This year we decided forget the mess we are going out. So we had decided we were going to do Japanese… Yet all of the Japanese places are closed. So we though Cracker Barrel would be nice, yet everybody else in TN thought the same idea. So as we were driving around trying to find a place open we saw Maggiano’s. Wasn’t really packed, so we pulled in. They were having a special Thanksgiving meal. They had it going on. You got bruschetta as an appetizer, then two salads, two entrees, two pastas and two desserts served on platters for you to disperse however you please. Turned out to be a very nice meal, especially since we did not even touch the Turkey and dressing. Which turned into a nice dinner tonight. Great Thanksgiving spent with the family. Now I am waiting till the clock strikes midnight as I am headed out to Toys R’ Us to get a hold of a train table for my little boy Jett. Watch out soccer moms, here I come and that table is mine….

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving…
Till next time…….
